When did it start? Big question…
In this life, the furthest I can remember is faint memories of watching Flipper the Dolphin on my parents’ black and white TV set, and a French (poorly) animated series, Oum le Dauphin. And, still as a child, I saw them performing circus tricks (sadly) in a zoo and in an amusement park. Nothing out of the ordinary for a kid growing in a Western country (Belgium) at the time; yet, retrospectively, these seemingly ordinary experiences were my early exposure to cetacean magic. And I would argue they had the same effect on many people.
Then one day, my father, with the best of intentions, took me to watch a touring exhibition of a whale that had been hunted and killed for the sole purpose of showing around its gigantic preserved body, which I found very hard to understand; I think my father, deep down, had the same reaction, but he chose to go along with the organizers’ explanation that they were doing this for educational purposes, to make people realize how extraordinary, unique and precious these beings are (no, I’m not making that up). Dad was a school teacher, you see… They had named it Whale Europe; and now, considering how much the cabal has hijacked the name “Europe” by associating it with a totalitarian, obsessively controlling, nightmarishly bureaucractic institution seated in Brussels, I think there was something foreboding about that particular choice of name.
My father had also offered me an encyclopedia of animals, where I had learned the fascinating information that whales communicate with each other across thousands of miles; at that point it started to get pretty obvious that there was something really special about these creatures, that went beyond their size and intelligence.
I also remember, as I was in my teen years, a friend mentioning to one of our teachers in high school that dolphins have a bigger cortex than humans, and that it was hypothesized that their lack of arms and hands was the only reason why they hadn’t built a civilization; to which the teacher replied with a most cautious “that might well be”.
I then came across fascinating information about a Russian researcher, Igor Tcharkovski, pionneer of water births, who was guiding groups of women on the shores of the Black Sea to give birth in nature; and, to everyone’s amazement, a group of wild dolphins had spontaneously come to support the women and children with the birthing process.
Then, after I got my first major spiritual activation at age 22, cetaceans started popping up here and there… Nothing really spectacular, but I read different takes on their nature in various spiritual books; one would say that dolphins are the humans of the sea, and whales are angels incarnate. Another would state that dolphins were extraterrestrial beings who, through their curiosity and adventurous spirit, had ended up “trapped” here in animal bodies…
Fast forward years later, I was in a seminar facilitated by my life partner at the time, the amazing Monique. She was guiding us through a meditation where she asked us, at some point, to perceive what we would going to be in the future, and I had the vision of a whale. My insight was that this wasn’t necessarily to be taken literally, but undoubtedly as a reference to the vast ocean of unity consciousness that whales embody.
Still later, I took an interest in the orgonite movement. Orgonite is a do-it-yourself composite material (resin, metal shavings and quartz cristal) that has the ability to transmute harmful energies. What I learned in orgonite forums, was that cetaceans were taking an active part in the environmental remediation that the orgonite movement was engaging in. For instance, people who would go toss orgonite in the seas were telepathically calling dolphins, who would then come to catch the orgonite pieces and transport them to strategic locations.
Fast forward again, and still in the context of group work. A friend, Flemming, had taken the initiative to form a “Reality Management” group, in service of Mother Earth and her Humanity. That expression had been coined by the teacher we were both following, George Kavassilas. The purpose of Reality Management is to take responsibility for the way reality unfolds at this level of life, by acknowledging and consciously implementing our role as co-creators. We were doing a lot of planetary clearing and activation work in these meditations that Flemming was leading and for me, cetaceans would regularly present themselves in my inner vision to participate and support our work.
I then moved to the coast of Portugal, where the land had been calling to me. I started swimming in the cool, salty waters of the Atlantic Ocean every day, and I could feel that it was making my connection to my cetacean friends more physical… You might have noticed there is a progression here, right?
After my move, I also started to engage in planetary clearing work with a very small, very dedicated team or reality managers; and boy, what a time we had! Two meetings a week, working together in sessions that were lasting for five to seven hours… And yeah, the finned ones were presenting themselves, big time!
I also got to have the dolphin watching boat tour experience. Needless to say, I had asked my buddies to show themselves; and, of course, they did. What was unexpected, was that a whale had also been spotted crusing in the vicinity which, according to the crew, was a rare occurence. So, what do you think? Was I going to let that opportunity go? I immediately asked the gentle giant to show itself, and I’m sure that at this point, you can guess what happened next… Yes, it was a very obliging whale. After we went back to port, one of us passengers noticed the presence of a tiny cloud above us, shaped like a cartoony whale; you’ve got to love the magic of life.
So, where is all this going? Well, here comes the final episode of this chronicle. Back to my small “spec ops” reality management team of five; as we were in meditation one day, a dolphin presented himelf to me and communicated that I was invited to develop a set of activities centered on the relationship between cetaceans and humans. And in that instant, The Human-Cetacean Alliance was born.
I immediately saw what I could do with this. But putting that information into practice was quite another matter. I faced tremendous inner resistance to actually launching these activities. Clearly, the forces of limitation didn’t want me to engage in that path at all, and they were putting up quite a fight. I had to push through the resistance, and it was painful. As an example, it took me a tremendous, ridiculous amount of time to set up the website. And along the way, I had to let go of paralyzing perfectionism, embrace imperfection and accept that everything didn’t necessarily need to look all neat and super-professional for me to launch these activities: my Dolphin Coaching sessions, my online course and my Madeira island retreat.
